Yes, you need two witnesses to get married in Oregon. Fortunately, as your Oregon elopement photographer, I can be one of those witnesses! Don't worry if you're traveling here to elope alone. We can easily find witnesses along the trail or at the beach, etc. Most everyone is more than happy to serve as witnesses and sign your marriage license.

A professional hair and makeup artist often begins around $400-500, with elopement specialists starting closer to $1000, travel included — they're one vendor I highly recommend, and are 1000% worth it. Rental vehicles in Oregon can be as low as $30-50 per day, and private lodging you'll want for your elopement experience will be minimum $150-200/night.

If you want a middle-of-the-road, but intentional elopement in Oregon during a week-long trip (including dress, makeup, suit, photography, lodgings, rental car, flights from elsewhere in the States, activities & details), you should budget close to $15,000 to have a memorable wedding trip that is full of meaningful details but isn't too extravagant (mansion lodgings, Pnina Tornai dress, etc.).

That said, as a local elopement photographer, I recommend planning at least 5 months in advance. It allows you time to book your dream Airbnb, reserve any activities, book your favorite vendors, and make sure you have time to make any dress alterations (they can take a long time).

What I won't do, is book them for you. I believe it's massively important that you speak to them personally, get to know them and their energy, and then go from there. My network of vendors is extensive and can be used in all Oregon locations, assuming you can align schedules.
