Boho Jedediah Redwoods & Oregon Coast Elopement

A Boho Love Story in the Redwoods and Along the Oregon Coast

When I received the email about capturing Nancy and Omar’s elopement in the Redwoods and along the Oregon Coast, I knew it was going to be something special. Little did I know just how enchanting it would turn out to be. Nancy and Omar, a couple deeply connected to nature and each other, made their day a truly unforgettable adventure.

Our day began amidst the towering Coastal Redwoods on a lesser-traveled trail these two trusted me with, and Nancy’s boho-chic two-piece wedding dress perfectly complemented the ethereal beauty of the forest. We made a pit stop and refueled with a relaxed picnic in the midst of the Redwoods, surrounded by these ancient giants. It was a serene and magical way to begin their journey, with their love as timeless as the trees themselves.

After a tranquil afternoon in the Redwoods, we headed to the dramatic cliffs of Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor on the Oregon Coast. The ceremony spot was thoughtfully adorned with lanterns and a vibrant rug, evoking a fusion of Bohemian and Bedouin vibes. It was a beautiful representation of the union of cultures and love shared between Nancy and Omar.

Nancy’s flower crown was a stunning touch, seemingly approved by Mother Nature herself (fake florals of course, since no live flowers are allowed in the Redwoods!).

The ceremony took place on the cliffside, with the Pacific Ocean waves crashing below. It was a powerful setting for their handfasting ceremony, symbolizing their deep commitment to one another amidst the grandeur of the Redwoods and the vastness of the ocean.

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm, golden glow that illuminated their love. It was a beautiful conclusion to a day filled with natural beauty and heartfelt emotion.

In the heart of the Coastal Redwoods and along the Southern Oregon Coast, Nancy and Omar’s elopement was a dreamy and informal celebration of the connection between two people, two cultures, and the natural world. Capturing their love amidst these stunning landscapes was a true privilege, and I’ll always hold these memories close.

Already wondering how you can have elopement images among the Redwoods?
