Before Oregon brought the hammer down on COVID-19 quarantine, Erika, Dan and I adventured to Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge for their Wachlella Falls Engagement Session.

Dan and Erika both travel the world (Erika especially, since she’s a flight attendant), and it takes an epic view to impress them. So we headed to the Columbia River Gorge outside of Portland, Oregon, for some epic waterfall views.

I can now safely say this, but these engagement photos were in preparation for Erika and Dan eloping on the Oregon Coast!

It’s significantly beneficial to get in front of your photographer’s camera before your big day, and Erika and Dan did just that. It gets you more comfortable with being in front of a lens. Also, you get to see how your photographer operates firsthand, and your photographer can see how the two of you interact together. What’s more? You get more memories captured in another beautiful location!
