Sunset Kauai Elopement

What can I say about Nikki & Tom’s sunset Kauai elopement? It was at sunset on one of the most beautiful cliffsides I’ve ever seen.

Both N & T live on Oahu, and it goes to show that you often don’t have to go far to find beauty (I could say this about so many places – the Pacific Northwest, New England states, etc, Southwest, etc.). Nikki is a photographer and when a photographer chooses you for their wedding, it’s insanely humbling. Thank you Nikki, for letting me capture such a special day and being part of your ohana. Your Kauai elopement was absolutely perfect and positively YOU <3.

They both took sailing lessons so they always love sailing together. The both love their morning coffee, cooking, hanging out at the pool, and love a good Netflix night in. Nikki and Tom wanted to get married somewhere stunning, while staying relatively local to their home. A Kauai elopement was the perfect compromise.

Out of respect for native Hawaiians and to not contribute to overtourism, I no longer photograph in Hawaii.
