Magical Early Autumn Alaska Elopement
The most varied backdrops in store with this helicopter, glacier, and ice wall elopement!
Wow. That’s all I can say after this epic Alaska elopement that included the most locations I’ve ever visited in one day, one badass bride who cut up her dress for Day 2 (so metal), and the most gorgeous Autumn reds in Alaska via helicopter.
Tyler is what Sav calls a water snob, so naturally I had to drill Tyler about his ratings because it fascinated me, since my favorite water is hose water 😂.
This Alaska elopement was featured on Wandering Weddings.
FUN Elopement DETAILS
Sav and Tyler met at Publix, where they both work as a manager and pharmacist. In order to pay homage to how they met, they donned Publix socks (the cutest, amirite?).
And they couldn’t forget their cats at home, so Sav had their likenesses embroidered into her denim jacket!
Dress Destruction
Yeah, you read that right. On Day Two before we met up, I received a text from Sav asking if the helicopter ride scrambled her brain because she wanted to cut up her dress to make a peplum corset top.
Now, I’m not one to discourage so I said if she was sure she wouldn’t want to wear it long again, to elope her life. You’re going to want to check out Day Two photos.
Savanah and Tyler had SO many great images, I couldn’t put them all in a blog post, so they’ve allowed me to share their entire gallery:
Already wondering how you can have elopement images in Alaska?
