Becca and Jared love to snowboard, and their second home is Mount Hood. So it makes sense that their perfect wedding day was a Mount Hood elopement.
They stayed the night at Timberline Lodge and woke up before the moon set to hike up the mountain to say their I Dos. They donned headlamps for some pre-sunrise portraits that were a great addition to their gallery. Just as the sun rose over the ridge, Becca & Jared said their vows in the shadow of Wy’East.
With a pop of champagne at this Mt. Hood elopement, these two shared their ceremony with a few close friends, and then headed down the mountain to explore nearby lakes and to see Mt. Hood from a farther vantage point, like this Mt. Hood area adventure session.
For a Mount Hood elopement, especially at sunrise, I recommend staying at Timberline Lodge. Because you can’t beat their food and views, and may end up in a room a president also stayed in. Each room has its own history displayed framed on the wall.
The beautiful thing about an adventure elopement on Mount Hood is that there is usually some level of snow year round at Timberline. This isn’t the case anywhere else accessible on the mountain, but Timberline provides beautiful views and 365 days of snow access.
