You can’t escape clouds on the Oregon Coast, even for this Heceta Head Lighthouse Elopement! But don’t worry – those clouds gave us some moody lighting.
Erika and Dan have traveled worldwide and been on tons of adventures. Still, they consider their relationship as equally great an adventure. That’s why, despite all the COVID-19 setbacks that have occurred in the world, they decided to have an Oregon Coast lighthouse elopement at Heceta Head.
Passionflower Florals created that stunning bouquet that went perfectly with the Oregon Coast’s moody weather and colors.
We spent time at Thor’s Well. After the ceremony, the couple decided they would brave the Pacific Ocean for some epic, moody water images!
Here is what they had to say about their Oregon Coast Heceta Head Lighthouse elopement experience:
“We’ve always been those types of “Elope Your Life” people, studying abroad, being spontaneous, etc. so eloping was an affirmation of our lifestyle. Our elopement day was stress-free, spontaneous, personal, and so reflective of us. The positivity overwhelmed any small negative aspect. With Sam’s help with locations and her incredible flexibility (especially with COVID-19 happening), we had an incredible elopement on the Oregon Coast. We had an excellent elopement experience with Sam and loved our images from both our adventure session and elopement!
A fantastic thing about eloping is that you can pick and choose what you do for the entire day when you throw away the structure of a traditional wedding. You don’t have to follow any or all “traditions” if you don’t want to. If you are scared to elope because it’s unfamiliar and outside of the box, but secretly feel you’d love it – do it. Step out of your comfort zone and elope your life!”
