Mary’s Peak, Corvallis OR

The yellow and golden haze on top of Mary’s Peak at sunset is seriously something to be witnessed. It’s even better when you witness sunset with two amazing people who share your love for all things Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, outdoors, and Taco Bell (because, priorities, amirite?). I never make it to the Corvallis area, but this needs to change! Tabby and Justin met me for their engagement photos and afterward we had dinner in downtown Corvallis (no, not Taco Bell).

What’s crazy about the area we hung out at is this: on a clear day you can see Mt. Hood and the ocean. Now, I’m not talking about “I think that small mountain I can barely see in the distance is Mt. Hood”. No. It’s clearly visible and seems so close! And the ocean isn’t a tiny sliver that could be mistaken for a mirage. It’s very clear that it’s the ocean, like you’re only a couple miles away from it.

Anyone else want to have an adventure session or elope to the top of the world?
