Crater Lake is covered and shrouded in mist most of the time during the winter. It made Noey and Jeramie’s adventure engagement session there impossible, so we went to Diamond Lake instead. Well, they’re in the area again and we couldn’t resist trying to use Crater Lake as a backdrop. Here we go! Crater Lake 2.0!
Families come in all shapes and sizes and this family is no different. Say hi to Zeppelin and Shadow.
Noey and Jeramie are having a gorgeous intimate wedding at the base of Mt. Whitney, CA in the Sierra Nevada range this September and I’m incredibly honored to photograph it. I’m so glad they came through southern Oregon because waiting until September to see them was brutal. We spent hours hanging out, hiking, photographing, and talking outside the Rim Village Gift Shop. Zeppelin and Shadow were almost as popular as the view of the caldera, with visitors stopping to pet them on their way inside. It was more like a double date than anything else. My husband joined me, so the four of us sat around sharing stories, comparing cities, and cracking jokes. It’s these moments that make me incredibly grateful – to capture people on camera, but to also be a part of these unique experiences. I’d take these experiences over physical “stuff” any day.
I can’t wait for September, guys.
